Life tossed snake eyes
on the first shot
the enemy must have
been blazing hot
picked me up
shook me around
I never saw the dice
hit the ground
Snake eye's!
I heard the voice say
It's going to always
be this way
Trouble shooter
yea, that's me
I'm going to ride you
blind you, bind you
before I set you free
I balled up in a knot
clinched my fist
took a deep breath
prayed intensely
then I heard the voice
with a houling decree
Snake Eye's! Oops!

People try not to use cliches, but the truth of their short, snappy sayings are so forceful, we're forced to examine them. "Why bad things happen to good people," immediately came to mind as I read SnakeEyes. I particularly thought that later throwing three demonstrates that we are never too far away from the SnakeEyes, but that through self determination anyone can reverse their fortune.
